The Guiding Light Church has partnered with World Vision, the humanitarian organization whose primary focus is serving children and their families who are the most vulnerable among us. On the local level, we are receiving donated resources such as furniture, small appliances, home goods, personal items, miscellaneous. GLC serves as a distribution hub to other churches and community organizations.  On the international level, our partnership with World Vision extends to Kinango, Kenya in Africa.  We have agreed to sponsor children in this community through individual monthly contributions of $39.00.  This Share Life project is organized around children in Kenya choosing individual family units or singles from our congregation and online partners who will sign up to be sponsors.
