Easter The Great Deception

 

This message is for all of us to realize it is God's purpose for us to deny ourselves, and give ourselves to Him so that we can become what He wants us to become, His children!

 

This was the reason Christ died on the cross so that he could become the victor over death and pay the price for our deliverance.

 

His death revealed to us, that only through death, can a man can find his life in Christ. Only through death, can a man can find his life in Christ.  He was not  glorified to the fullness until he went the way of the cross. We were created for glory but we will not experience it until we learn to die to ourselves.

 

So, God wants all of us to deny ourselves so that we may find ourselves. 

 

Mt 16:24–25 (ESV) — 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 

This is a very important point that Satan does not want us to truly come to see! He does not want us to know our true divine potential so he hides the truth from us by making us see what is a lie, as truth.

 

The Great Deception

 

1 Co 2:7–8 (ESV) — 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 

 

Today, I will be showing you some symbols and graphics that I hope will help make my message clear. First symbols are…

Men and God do not see things the same way. God sees things from a different perspective. He created this world. He created it by his spoken word. What he said came to pass. What he says will be, will be. There is no challenge to it. 

Whatever he says will happen is going to come to pass. No one can stop it from happening.

 

Satan's trap is to get us to look at things in a different way than the way God says they are.

 

He is the master of lies and deception; he does not want man to see what God says because what God says is the opposite of what he says. If a man ever sees what God says, man is smart enough to turn away from him. Therefore, he tries to get men to see things God says, in a different way.

He wants to be the master of mankind and he wants man to follow after him. Therefore, he creates lies and makes them look like truth. 

 

He makes evil, look like good, good look like evil. He plays mind games. He tells us right is wrong and wrong is right. He tells us night is day and day night. Male is female, and female is male; By this, he deceives men into submitting to him. 

 

Truthfully, he has been very successful!

 

Now listen:

 

You see, the serpent was more crafty than any of the beast of the field that the Lord God made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say you shall not eat of any tree in the garden?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God did say, “You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.”

 

But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

 

Notice, he said the opposite of what God said.

 

I want to show you this so you can see it for yourself. Satan works to get the woman to see something different than what God says!

 

Ge 3:5 (ESV) — 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 

 

You will then see something that God never wanted you to see. You will begin to see differently than God, and what you see will affect what you think.

 

Satan worked on the woman’s mind so that in her mind, she heard that her eyes will be opened, and she would begin to see what God did not want her to see. Notice what we read in verse six. 

 

Ge 3:6 (ESV) — 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, 

 

Note that the focus is on what she saw and how it affected her eyes. 

 

Satan planted a thought and she began to see things differently from God. What was supposed to be seen as death was now seen as something delightful.

 

What was supposed to be seen as death was now seen as something delightful.

 

How often Satan plays that mind trick on us. We see something that is deadly as delightful. Think about that for a moment.

 

We begin to see a way that seems right but in the end the way is death.

 

The woman was deceived by what Satan said to see something delightful that God said was death. The man knew the truth, he was not deceived. 

What are we told about the man?  What did he see? He just saw the woman.

 

Ge 2:18–19 (ESV) — 18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” 19 Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 

Why did he bring the animals to the man? To see what he would call them!

 

Ge 2:20–23 (ESV) — 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22 And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. 

Why did he bring her to the man? To see what he would call her.

 

When the man saw her what did he say?

 

23 Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” 

 

The men saw something that was unlike any other creature he had seen his life?

 

All Satan had to do was to deceive the woman to see something different because he knew what the man was seeing. He was seeing the woman and that was what was delightful to his eyes. So, by deceiving the woman into seeing what he wanted her to see, the man would keep seeing what he wanted to see. Both would be distracted from seeing what God wanted them to see.

 

Satan does not want us to see what God says, therefore he creates the illusion of something other than God's word and causes man to run after that.

 

You see,

Now, I'm going to show you another series of symbols I want you to decipher what you see.

 

(Show them the optical illusion #1.)

I want to ask now, without you saying a word, how many of you see problem I am trying to reveal to you? This is the problem all of us have. Now, without saying a word, those who understood the message, raise your hands.

 

How many did not understand the message? I will show you the passage, once again.

Repeat the Scripture. There is a way that seems right to me.

 

How many understood that message? How many did not understand the message? Everyone understands.

 

(Show the illusion #1 for just a brief second). 

 

Without saying a word. How many understood the message this time of the problem we have?

 

How many do not understand? 

 

What I am revealing to you is that many of us can look at the same thing and not see the message that God is giving us because Satan is blinds our eyes to the truth. The problem is we have.… 

 

(Show the illusion #1 again and let it stay.)

 

Once again, with the illusion being visualized, what do you see that we as human beings have a problem with. We have Bad Eyes!

 

Now show the Scripture.

There are ways that we see things that are the way of death. God's ways are not our ways. 

 

Is 55:6–11 (ESV) — 6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. 

 

Because God's ways are so vastly different from ours. There was a man named Moses who asks of God.

Ex 33:13 (ESV) — 13 Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. Consider too that this nation is your people.” 

 

Psalms says Ps 103:7 (ESV) — 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. 

 

Most people are interested in the works of God. All they can see is his works, but they do not see his ways. Today, I want to continue to reveal to you a way of God.

 

I want to reveal to you the way of God regarding one subject, death. This one thing, that has been seen as the great enemy of all mankind, is no longer a threat to mankind. Death has been overcome! It is not the end it is cracked up to be. God has reversed it so that now death is a transition!

 

This day proves that death is no longer a threat to us. We must learn to get over our fear of death or any threat to our lives that may cause for our death.

 

Death is no threat to us! Death has been defeated! Death is but a shadow! Christ has overcome death!

 

Death is a constant reminder that there is a judgment. Death should reminds us that all of us will be accountable to God. Death was the penalty of sin. Death was the punishment all mankind had to suffer because of every man going his own way and not the way of God.

 

But now, another man came into the world so that whosoever believed on him should not die. 

 

No, not die and experience eternal banishment from God, but have life ever more. Life eternal! And above all, Life with Christ in God.!

 

That man was Jesus the Christ. He was in the beginning with God, and he was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men that men might see clearly what God wanted them to see.

 

He was in the world, and even though the world was made through him, the world did not know him because the world could not see God in him. He came to his own creation, and his own people did not receive him. But all who did receive him, who believe in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Not born of blood of a mother or father, or of the will of man; but of God.

 

Again, he came to his own, but they did not recognize him. Why? Because,…

 

(Illusion #1.)

 

After all he did, they did not know him. They were deceived. Even though they knew the Scriptures they could not see but was before their eyes because they were deceived by Satan.

 

Now, God does speak, one way, now another. But man does not perceive it. A man does not see it. 

 

Mk 4:12 (ESV) — 12 so that “ ‘they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.’ ” 

 

Therefore, God through Jesus has sent preachers, some to be apostles and some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some, (like me) to be pastor teachers to show people the way that he reveals all mankind is to go.

 

This is the day that is most important than all other days. 

Greater than 4 July! 

Greater than Emancipation Day! 

Greater than Christmas!

Greater than even your birthday! 

Because on this day our Lord, who had been crucified and buried, rose again from the grave three days later.

 

Ro 6:4 (ESV) — 4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. 

 

What we must begin to see is that death, is no longer death for us. Death is an illusion! Because Christ rose from the grave, death has no hold over us. To all who believe in his death, his burial, and his resurrection there will be no death!

 

Satan, wants us to fear death. He wants us to be afraid of men who can threaten death. But death for us is a transition to life!

 

Regardless to what you see with your eyes, death is an illusion! Death no longer exist! Ro 8:11 (ESV) — 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. 

 

There has been swallowed up in victory! We should no longer fear death. 

I will say again. We should no longer fear death!

 

Re 12:11 (NIV84) — 11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. 

 

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die!”

 

Christ conquered death and death is defeated. 

 

But most men do not see that. They fear death, and they think death is the end of things: For many of them it is. But for us who believe, death is a transition to eternal life and the joy of our Lord.

 

We must now begin to see death in a different light! We must begin to see death the way God sees it.

 

When Jesus died on the cross, where was his ultimate destination? Seated at the right hand of the Father!

 

Where is our ultimate destination in death? Seated in the presence of Almighty God! 

 

No matter what anyone might try to do to us, we are guaranteed we shall be in the presence of Almighty God!

 

Because of this day, over 2000 years ago death was defeated! We can be put 6 feet under, but the grave can’t keep us, and death can’t hold onto us. 

 

At the voice of the archangel, and the sound of the trumpet, the dead in Christ will rise, and we all will meet with the Lord in the air and we shall be like him! Nothing can stop that from happening.

 

Because of this day, we need not fear what man might do to us, for indeed it is merely an illusion of satan. 

 

Come on man! What weapon formed against us, shall prosper, and what tongue that rises up against us can condemn us?

 

Because of this day, we are more than conquerors. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!

 

Finally, I want to share with you one illusion that remains. If death has been defeated, why are we fearful of anything?

 

Because of this day, let us learn to die, to die, to ourselves by learning to do as Jesus said, deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Christ!

 

Jesus has defeated death and has given us a new way of life and a new way of life. A life that can only be experienced through the death of self!

 

We must all learn to die to self so that we may be raised up into the likeness of Christ!

 

If we die to self, before the death of the body, we will experience the glory of the Lord in the body!

 

If we die to self, before the death of the body, we will experience the glory of the Lord in the body!

 

Follow the illusion. Jesus was crucified and they thought they were done with him. That was the illusion. Satan was deceived! For if they had known the plan of God, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 

 

They thought Jesus was dead! They even put a stone in front of his grave to try to keep him in the grave. But I want to let you know, no matter what they tried to do nothing could stop him on Sunday morning!

 

I want to let you know that the time has come when nothing that man says or does can truly harm you

 

When they crucified Jesus, they set the captives free, and they made it possible for even a murderous thief on the cross, justly condemned, to spend eternity in paradise. The illusion of death meant for that thief eternal glory. That day!

 

This is what I want you to understand that God is saying to us.

 

He wants us to die symbolically by being baptized in water to symbolize our death and symbolize his raising us up just like he raised up Jesus from the grave with power honor and dominion.

 

I want you to get this again.

 

Just as Jesus died and now is raised up to sit at the right hand of the Father with power  and dominion, God wants you to give up your life, to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him so he can raise you up to new heights in this world.

 

Then after this world has been burned up in the fire, cause you to sit, with him in heavenly places. He has already prepared that place for you! Hasn’t he told you that!

 

Open your eyes now brothers and sisters and see that Christ laid down his life, to take it up again and is now seated with the father. Now, go after him by denying yourself, dying to yourself and take up your cross to serve and follow him so that you may be seated with him and experience heaven now!

 

God has called all of us to give up our lives by denying ourselves so that he can raise us up to high places and give us abundance blessings in this life. Then, in the world to come, eternal exceedingly great rewards.

 

Remember this:

Jn 12:24–26 (ESV) — 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25 Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

Don’t be deceived by the illusion of what man can do to you. If God can raise you up from the grave, shall tribulation, distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or guns separate us from the love of Christ?

 

Be bold and very courageous because we have the greatest event that ever happened in humankind to occur when God raised up Jesus as a testimony to our ultimate victory!

 

Do not be deceived by the illusion of things that are going on in this world. You are more than a conqueror, you have been bought with a price, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit that God has given you. Therefore, glorify God with your body and have no fear of the illusion of things that are happening in this world!

 

Now we have a new mind, we have a spiritual body. Therefore, let us now have our minds renewed to this revelation. Let us no longer be conforming to the pattern of this world but recognize its deception, so that we can be transformed into the image and likeness of Christ. For that is NOW, is his will.

 

Don’t let Satan deceive you with more illusions!

The concept of death and life is revealed in the night and day.

 

The concept of life and death is revealed in the seasons. After the winter comes to spring and life begins a new.

 

 

 

Jesus said this is my body, take eat this is my blood of which the covenant is made that is his death allowed us to have a new life in the physical bodies that we have now.

 

 

Moses had to die to who he was to become what God intended for him to be.

 

The sperm and egg have to die to what they are in order to become a new creation.

 

A person must be born again, in order to be born again, one must die to who they are.

 

 

 

The new mind must be renewed, not according to the pattern of thinking like this world after the flesh, but according to the pattern of the word after the spirit, and there in all be transformed.

 

Baptism is a representation of dying to oneself and being born again to a new life.

 

Even in the concept of tithing. There must be a death to 10% of what you have so that the 90% can live and produce more than the total of the hundred percent.

 

All around us. We have an indication that God's ways are not our ways.

 

God gives life out of death. Until a man deny himself, he cannot be truly the life that Christ wants him to live. The denial of self is the willful acceptance of death to self to give life to the new person born again.

 

Use first Corinthians 55th chapter of life coming from death.

 

Death is swallowed up in victory.
