Life is choice driven. You will live or die by the choices you make. Time and choice are two of the most disrespected resources that God has given to every human being. Success or poverty in life is determined by how you choose to use your time. But more so time and choice determine the status and quality of your eternal life.

Our time on earth is limited, and with every passing day, we exchange a day of our lives for it. We must learn to make the most of each day. When a day has ended, the opportunity for blessing that day is lost forever; that time has passed, and we are one day closer to our day of passing away.

“In the beginning”, with those three words, God created time and he gave man choice and the time to make his choice when he gave him the freedom to eat of every tree of the garden but one. Then, he gave time for the man to make his decision whether good or bad.

This lesson teaches that we must be respectful of time and the freedom of choice because there will come a time when there will be no more time and no more opportunity to make choices. The time will come when it is too late to do anything different than what has been done, and that is just too bad and so sad. We should take each day of life seriously.

At the end of each day, can we say it was worth it? What did we get in exchange for the day?
