Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
Be joyful always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks in all circumstances.
This is God’s will for you.

In All Things Give Thanks!
This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ to live!
Thank God no matter what happens.
This means we thank God for the wins in life.
But we also thank God for the Ls we talk as well.
Be Thankful Because Every “L” Isn’t A “Loss,” It’s Actually A Lesson!
If you lose a relationship…you have knowledge of what to avoid next time.
If you lose a job…you have wisdom and knowledge you can take with you!
Even if you find out things about yourself…you can always take something with you!
Sometimes it’s hard to find…but there’s a lesson in the loss!
What’s a principle we can take with us about thanks?

The first line...the first lyric.
The first thought…
They start with thanksgiving.
…the first idea…is to give thanks to God!
When You Start Your Day, Give Thanks!
We have to start
This Month We Are Talking About 3 Categories To Give Thanks For:
1. Giving Thanks To God For Our Inner Being
2. Giving Thanks To God For Our Outer World
3. Giving Thanks To God For His Love
Last week we talked
Our Inner Being
Our Inner Being is everything that makes us up as an individual.
The things that make us up as a person.
These are the things we can and SHOULD be giving thanks for AT ALL
Giving Thanks To God For Our Inner Being:
1. God Is Our Healer
2. God Is Our Protector
3. God Is Our Restorer
Check the message from last week for a review.
Today:
Giving Thanks To God For Our Outer World
Our Outer World are the things that
Things that affect our lives but external things.
Thanking God for those in our circle.
Thanking God for Jobs and better jobs.
Raises and bonuses…
Estates and inheritances.
Houses and automobiles!
etc
But also keeping our families safe and protected.
These are things we should be giving thanks for AT ALL TIMES.
Today we’re gonna talk about 3 areas to thank God for.
Giving Thanks To God For Our Outer World:
1. God Provides Constant Blessings
2. God Provides
3. God Gives Us Victory Over Our Battles
God Provides Constant Blessings
We are thankful because we see that God’s desire is to bless us.
We are thankful for previous blessings…AND future blessings.
There are scriptures all over the

Deuteronomy 28:1-2
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2
If you are obedient to God…blessings will follow.
There is a list of things we’re about to read.
This tells of the blessings God will do for us…
We should be thankful for this!
Verse 3-9
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. 5 Your basket
So what happens when God blesses us with these things?
Verse 10-14
10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will
This is the character of our God.
Is this not something to give thanks to God for?
Let’s talk about some of what we just read.
Verse 3
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
- Wherever you decided to live…God’s blessings would find you.
- God will open the heavens up to you no matter where you are.
We should thank God for that!
Verse 4-5
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. 5 Your basket and your kneading trough
- The things you produce will be blessed.
- The children you have…if you have them will be blessed.
- (calves, lambs) The things you own will be blessed.
- your car might not break down
- things you own don’t mess up.
- your
- even the things you may not take care of don’t break down on you.
- Your basket (your food and water) will be blessed.
- You don’t have to go hungry with God.
Verse 6
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when
- wherever you go…your daily activities.
- if you go to the store…to the mall.
- to the gas station.
- to church!
Verse 8
8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
- Your bank accounts
- Your investments
- God’s hand will be on those things…
- You might have some losses…but your return is going to be great!
These are just SOME of the blessings God
We Should Be Thankful We Have A God Who Blesses Us!
Let’s talk about number 2:
2. God Provides Provision For Us
Psalm 147:7-9

Sing to the Lord with THANKS Giving.
This is showing the provision God gives!
God covers the sky with clouds.
The clouds bring rain…
The rain covers the earth.
Grass needs the rain to grow.
Animals eat the grass…
And the animals provide milk and meat to who??
Who planted the grass?
God placed it there!
Who put the animals there?
Give Thanks To God Because
A farmer works and invests time and effort planting seeds in hopes that God will send the rain.
The farmer can rely on his own strength for so long…because God has to supply the water.
No Matter The Problem, God Can Take Care Of It!
There is only so far we can go on our own strength.
Philippians 4:19
19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
We Make Life Hard By Trying To Solve Problems God Has Already Answered!
He will supply ALL our needs!
God already supplied the answer.
Get out of the way!
Matthew 6:30-34
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying,
God provides the things you need.
Jehovah Jireh!
God KNOWS The Things You Need And Will Supply Them!
3. God Gives Us Victory Over Our Battles
Deuteronomy 28:7
7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
- God will protect you.
- They can’t take out what God has blessed…
- they may think they won…but God has his hands on and has blessed
People May Think They Beat You, But They Don’t Realize God Is Fighting For You!
1 Corinthians 15:57
57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank God!
The victory comes through him!
This Is How I Fight My Battles!
Elisha let God fight his battle!
- open the servants eyes!
Moses
- move on!
Daniel let God fight his battle!
- he shut the mouth of the lion!
Even If You Can’t See It, Give God Thanks For The Victory!
1 John 5:3-4
3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not
Everyone born of God overcomes the world.
It’s not your fight.
It’s God’s fight.
You already overcome because of him.
