The MEDIC-sponsored awareness seminar is designed to improve health outcomes for those dealing with Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, also known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The seminar will provide general education about the diseases and how to seek treatments for symptoms. While there is no known cause or cure for IBD, there are many effective treatments to help control it. MEDIC has partnered with UAB and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation to present the seminar on Wednesday, September 17th, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Gold Room.
