Hope for the Holidays
Hope for the Holidays is supported by GLC's Bereavement Ministry in partnership with Community Grief Support on Saturday, November 15th from 9 am to 12 noon. This workshop is for those grieving the recent loss of a loved one, as the holiday season fast approaches. This free, helpful, informative, and encouraging workshop features a panel of loss survivors and Elder Charlena H. Bray as keynote speaker.

Men’s Ministry: “Suds and Shine”
To all the Ladies of GLC — Get Ready for “Suds n’ Shine”! Our Men’s Ministry is rolling up their sleeves and grabbing their sponges for a day of service, fellowship, and fun! Event: Suds n’ Shine — Men Serving with Heart Date: Saturday, November 22nd Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Location: GLC Parking Lot The men of GLC are coming together to wash the cars of our amazing church ladies! It’s our way of saying thank you for all you do — and an opportunity for us men to fellowship, serve, and shine (literally and spiritually). Here's what you can expect: A free car wash from our Men’s Ministry team to all the ladies of the Light. We will provide smiles, encouragement, and good music! We want to provide a visible expression of love and gratitude toward the women who bless us as well as our ministry. This event is for the ladies of GLC. So come out with your cars, enjoy the morning, and let us bless you! “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26 (NIV)
